Moments prior to the beginning of the Consecration Ceremony of the Supreme Grand Chapter of the Royal Arch of Ecuador.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In a historic and unprecedented event in our country, the Grand First Principal of the Royal Arch of Scotland, M.E.C. Ramsay McGhee accompanied by his retinue, proceeded to consecrate the Supreme Grand Chapter of the Royal Arch of Ecuador and install the Grand Principals of the aforementioned Grand Chapter. Both ceremonies, as sober as fraternal, took place on October 19, 2024 in the Lodge Hall located in the Masonic House \u201cEugenio Espejo\u201d in the city of Quito and were attended by all the EE. CC. members of the Supreme Grand Chapter of Ecuador, and with the honorable accompaniment of the M.R.G.M. of the Grand Lodge of Ecuador, E.C. Hector Vanegas y Cortazar, who was conferred the position of First Honorary Deputy Grand Principal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

These two ceremonies were conducted by the visiting M. EE. CC. and were developed entirely in English. After the consecration of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Ecuador, which formalizes its operation in our territory, we proceeded to install the Grand Principals of the same in their order:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation of the first authorities of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Ecuador: M.E.C. Andr\u00e9s \u00c1lvarez Moreira and M.E.C. Juan Morej\u00f3n Mari\u00f1o.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Grand Principal, M.E.C. Andr\u00e9s \u00c1lvarez Moreira; First Deputy Grand Principal, M.E.C. Juan Morej\u00f3n Mari\u00f1o; Second Grand Principal, M.E.C. Xavier V\u00e1zquez Dom\u00ednguez; and Third Grand Principal, M.E.C. Byron Ojeda Oliva. Then, the M.E.C. Ramsay McGhee proceeded to close the work of installation and handed over the direction of the session to P.G.P. Andr\u00e9s \u00c1lvarez, who proceeded to install the Grand Grand Grand Porters of the Supreme Grand Chapter of the Royal Arch of Ecuador, which in this way formalized its organizational structure and consolidated its status as the sole and supreme authority of the Royal Arch for the territory of the Republic of Ecuador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
